Village camp Ray of Light

It is been the 2nd year for volunteers of Hope for Everyone Ministries to do the camp for the village children. Praise God that notwithstanding many obstacles He made it happen. The camp has been a great blessing for the village people. 64 children attended the camp during 5 day. At the camp we had different activities with the children - Bible lessons, crafts, games, all-camp games. Our drama team performed different skits from Jesus' life.

We had opening and closing services with over 130 visitors both children and their parents or grandparents where we invited pastors and worship team from Zhytomyr Central Baptist Church. Many people got to hear the Gospel for the first time in their life.

God worked in a powerful way in children's hearts. At the last day, at the Bible lesson, the children were invited to receive Christ in their heart. In the younger two groups most children raise their hand and followed the prayer of repentance after the leader. In the oldest group none raise their hands. So one of the leaders shared her testimony of how she accepted Jesus in her heart...

At the end of the day two older children came to leaders and ask them to pray with them to receive Christ. It was God's miracle!!! People still need to hear about Jesus and His salvation, so we should not get tired of doing all we can in order to spread the Gospel among those who don't know about God's saving grace yet!
