Joyful winter events

Jason and Shannon Terry, our wonderful friends and temporary missionaries from First Baptist Church, Hot Springs, AR. It is Jason's first time in Ukraine, but Shannon's third time in Ukraine and at Hope for everyone.  

During a week, January 10-17, they have been a great help and support in our work for the Lord and a living testimony to our Nursing home staff in Dovbysh. Jason helped our friends and faithful volunteers Serhiy and Myroslav do a renovation project of the corridor in the nursing home. Shannon had meetings with our elderly residents of our nursing home, with women and children. It was very special and fascinating for children of Kurne village to spent time with Shannon and hear a story from the Bible, play games and especially do crafts. Children in Kurne village enjoy doing crafts very much!

Time, which they spent with us, attitude and dedication blessed and encouraged the staff of Hope for everyone and all people whom we served greatly.

So grateful to for the team of volunteers from Zhytomyr who conducted a Christmas event in Dovbysh with children of Dovbysh and Kurne villages. About a hundred children came to the event and heard about a Good News about the birth of Jesus Christ. It was amazing how Shannon and Jason with some helpers distributed sweet to all children and nursing home resident. Everyone was very excited to have our special guests from America.

Special gratitude to Pastor Gearl Spicer and One Heart Church who helped us purchase the gifts for Christmas event.

Buddy and Janada and Ukraine Challenge, Int. friends, Pastor Marvin and Carol Wood, Linda Boss and friends from GAIN, Ron and Joan Schlender, Don and Nancy Miller, Patti McKeen, and others, who make it possible for us to do good deed to the people around and help them in their need. May God's name be glorified through it!
