About a week ago our charitable foundation “Hope for everyone” was privileged to welcome and host our good friends from First Baptist Church of Hot Springs. This time a team of 8 ladies and 6 men left their homes to bring the light of Gospel and share the love of our Savior Jesus Christ with the people of Kurne village and Dovbysh. 

 

During 7 days “Hope for everyone” team together with some of the ladies were busy teaching the residents of our maternity house program and the women from the village different life-skills and meditating together over the Word of God, while the other devoted their time to the village kids, playing various sport games, doing absolutely amazing crafts together and having some Bible studies with them. The men were mostly involved in construction matters laying the foundation of retreat center for the kids with special needs and their parents.

It’s also worth mentioning that on the base of Dovbysh nursing home there was functioning an eye-glass clinic where everyone who needed glasses could come and get ones. Besides the clinic there was also a general practitioner who was receiving patients providing a highly qualified medical help to the people of Dovbysh. All together they managed to help about 200 people within 3 days. Even now the villagers approach us asking when the doctors can come again. Of course the team couldn’t but visit Dovbysh orphanage and spend some quality time with its kids. No one was left without candies, gifts, personal children’s Bible and precious time spent for crafts and games.

It was a blessed time together. We all cherish hope to meet our good friends next year and keep praying about you, your families and ministries.
